Bullett Magazine

Exactly the day after Scott proposed to me, back in ...July? I shot this editorial for Bullett with my dear friend and super-talented photographer/artist Easton Schirra. We all drove out to a cabin in the mountains and shot these photos, and Scott tagged along too. It was a great day and I remember feeling like I was in a dream, so overwhelmed yet calm about the fact that I was going to be marrying my best friend. Looking back, I think part of me was overwhelmingly confused with the fact that I was so calm "am I crazy?" "should I be this calm?" "is this normal?". Now that we've been married for six months, I can't help but smile and see that, ah, yes I probably am a little crazy to most, but that it's the best, and I always seem to follow my heart. And it's been so flipping awesome. So, If I had to say something to my 20 year-old self and everyone else living on the less beaten path, I'd say: "you do you". Also fun fact: you can spot the ring in a few of these photos (and in the video at the bottom of the page), AND actually, you can find me wearing my wedding ring in almost all of the shoots that I do. For some reason people like it . . . and I don't mind ;)
